Davina McCall was born on October 16, 1967 in London to parents Florence and English graphic Andrew McCall. She grew up with her grandparents in Surrey and was educated at the reputable schools of Latymer and Godolphin.

Davina McCall is one of UK’s most familiar faces on TV. Her career began when she worked on the MTV channel as a presenter. This brought her to the interest of producers who eventually offered more slots to her on MTV. Her luck suddenly brought her to take part on terrestrial TV where she was seen presenting Streetmate, the show that brought her to extreme popularity. She was spotted by producers who were then searching for a personality who would be hosting Big Brother.

Since the year 2000 up to present, Davina McCall has been hosting Big Brother and this success lead her into her own sitcom entitled Sam’s Game. She has also presented awards for The Mirror and the more prestigious Brit Awards in the year 2000.

Davina McCall has been a household name and her popularity did not end in her career. Her marriage with Pet Rescue’s Matthew Robertson in 2000 which produced a baby girl in 2001 whom they named Holly Willow, also made her a successful wife and mother. After Holly Willow, she gave birth to two more children Tilly in 2003 and Chester in 2006. All of these kids were born on the month of September and they were delivered inside their home because Davina is a big supporter of home birth. Davina and her husband met while she was walking her dog in a west London park.

Aside from being a celebrity, Davina McCall is also active in charity works. She is supporting Comic Relief and she actively traveled for three years to Kenya and Uganda to supervise the flow of funds.

Prior to all of these, Davina McCall used to work as a band singer when she was only 15 years old. Before graduating from her teenage life, she dated the famous Eric Clapton who helped her get over her addiction. Clapton produced her demo music disc and supported her in the pop music world. Clapton also helped her land in her own show in the music MTV channel.

In the year 2006, Davina McCall was honored as the Glamour Awards TV Presenter of the Year. She did a lot of hosting commitments and was even quoted as the women with whom ladies in the UK dream to go shopping with.
